RUKA'S UPCOMING ANNIVERSARY YEAR AND WINTER SEASON WILL BRING THE FOLLOWING NEW FEATURES:

BASE Eat & Heat restaurant

Finally, the long-awaited wish is fulfilled as the scenic restaurant with sauna opened its doors in Saarua's peak in December 2024. BASE Eat & Heat offers visitors a selection of delicious food, relaxing steam, and unique vistas.

SLOPESTYLE COURSE RENOVATION

Ruka Park, located on Saarua slopes in Ruka has undergone a complete renovation in summer 2024 to meet international championship and World Cup standards. The changes include modifications to the slope profile, snowmaking system, and lighting.

ALL 10-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN CAN SKI WITH US FOR FREE!

This winter, all 10-year-olds ski for free! Every child born in 2014 receives complimentary lift passes for the entire winter season, valid at both Ruka and Pyhä throughout the 2024-2025 ski season.

FINLAND'S FIRST ALPINE COASTER

Finland's first alpine coaster will open in the summer of 2025. Additionally, gravity-powered, motorless downhill cars are introduced to Ruka, allowing for thrilling descents from the top to the bottom.

Summer 2025: mountain carts

During summer 2025 you can enjoy a ride down from the hill top with a gravity powered mountain cart that speeds you through Ruka's slopes.

Renewed Masto Slope Area

In season 24-25, Masto's last year's renewed slope area and the new eight-person chairlift will be in full use. In connection with the renovation, Ruka's snow-making capacity increased, so there will be even more snowmaking for the beginning of winter.
